Although neither a play nor a cast album, this short EP, based on real events, can perhaps best be considered as such.

ACT I

Matt spends his days in his basement making music, but longing to be recognized as a basketball god. After Matt challenges any and all members of the public to a one-on-one grudge match (1), the heroic Melvin responds to the provocation by agreeing to fly from his native land in far-off Europe to teach Matt a lesson in humility (2). The night before the epic battle, Matt throws a music concert, but all minds and hearts are focused on the coming battle (3).

ACT II

The big day has arrived. After a couple of warm-up games (4), Matt and Melvin take the half-court. Both men play hard and rough in the first 3-minute half (5), and take a well-deserved break as musicians extraordinaire Mitch 'n' Odilon's Good Time Trumpet & Ukulele Combo Band take the field for the halftime show (6). The second half is a tense, nail-biting affair with a dramatic final moment (7), and an important lesson is learned by all (8).
